David Luoni, Element's Director of Quality Assurance, has been awarded the H. V. Churchill Award by ASTM Committee E01 on Analytical Chemistry for Metals, Ores, and Related Materials. The award was established in 1967 by ASTM Committee E02 on Emission Spectroscopy in honor of its first chairman, Mr. Churchill, to recognize meritorious service.
The award was presented to Mr. Luoni for his meritorious service as the Chairman of Subcommittee E01.20 on Fundamental Practices. This subcommittee has jurisdiction of a number of diversified standards that include standards that use various instrumental methods of analysis and standards for other metal and metallurgical activities.About ASTM International
