LONDON, UK – May 23, 2016 – Element Materials Technology’s Engaged Expert Steve Hayes is collaborating with a number of key industry stakeholders to develop a new set of global regulations for the emerging wireless power transfer (WPT) technology market which will dramatically effect a range of industry sectors, including the electric vehicle market in the Automotive industry.
Worldwide industry experts in electromagnetic interference (EMI) and electromagnetic capability (EMC) are currently drafting new standards for the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) and the CISPR (Comité International Spécial des Perturbations Radioélectriques) to harmonize international testing standards for wireless power transfer applications. Once published, these standards will roll-out across regulatory regimes across the world, as significant new uses of WPT reach production phases.
