London, UK – October 14, 2021 – Element Materials Technology (Element) continues to bolster its Executive team, bringing greater focus to its critical communications and sustainability agenda with the appointment of Lee Andrews as Group Director, Corporate Affairs and ESG.
Lee was most recently Vice President, North America Corporate Affairs for Mars, Inc., a global business with a portfolio of confectionery, food, and pet care products and services. Lee spent 25 years at Mars, leading teams across the Americas and Europe in Communications & Sustainability, Marketing, Sales, Procurement and Supply Chain. He has a track record of embedding Purpose in global brands and organizations and is passionate about the positive role that business can play in society.
As Element’s global head of Corporate Affairs and ESG, Lee will join the Operating Board, identifying opportunities to build and nurture the corporate brand through purpose and leading the broad, cross-functional ESG agenda.
Jo Wetz, CEO at Element, commented: “I am excited to welcome Lee to Element. He brings both functional and commercial experience gained across businesses and brands around the world. He will help us to accelerate our growth as a purpose-driven business, bringing energy and even more focus to our ESG agenda.”
Lee Andrews said: “I am thrilled to be joining the Element team, a global business with a track record of transformation and growth and a real focus on people. I’m looking forward to working closely with colleagues and customers around the world as we continue to build our reputation through positive action.”
Lee’s appointment to the Operating Board follows the arrival last month of Andrew Jordan as the new Chief Digital & Technology Officer (CTO) for the Group.
