London, UK – July 2, 2018 Element Materials Technology (Element) has today completed the acquisition of vohtec Qualitätssicherung GmbH (vohtec) in Germany, significantly strengthening its European transportation footprint. In June 2018, Element announced that it had entered into a binding agreement with vohtec subject to obtaining German regulatory approvals which have now been secured.
The vohtec laboratories in Southern Germany comprise four DIN EN ISO 9001: 2015 and DIN EN ISO / IEC 17025: 2005 accredited facilities in Aalen, Altbach, Garching and Bad Friedrichshall, employing 360 engaged experts specializing in destructive and non-destructive testing focused on the transportation sector.
