London, UK – February 3, 2026 – Element Materials Technology ("Element") has been accredited by Volkswagen AG as an approved provider for defined materials testing programs. The designation, which applies to Element’s Warren and Plymouth laboratories in the U.S., strengthens its position as a trusted partner to both Volkswagen as well as the broader automotive industry.
Volkswagen AG’s materials testing program establishes a global network of approved laboratories to verify the quality and safety of parts manufactured by the automaker’s suppliers. Element was selected for this program based on its technical expertise, robust quality systems and proven ability to deliver comprehensive testing services that met Volkswagen’s exacting standards. Through this accreditation, Element can support suppliers with reliable, independent testing services aligned with Volkswagen’s requirements, helping streamline validation and approval processes.
