About Element Nyköping Laboratory
Element Nyköping performs accredited testing of plastic pipes and pipe materials delivering independent test data for classification and life time evaluation. The laboratory was established in the early 1970's and is one of very few independent laboratories in the world in this field. The facility serves resin manufacturers, pipe extruders, certification bodies and utility companies worldwide.
The capabilities include hydrostatic pressure testing, chlorine resistance testing, high flow circulation loop testing and crack propagation to international standards with a capacity of 5,000 test stations.
Our experts also provide advisory services in this field, with deep technical expertise in standardization, approvals, optimized testing programs and interpretation of test results based on solid experience in plastic pipes testing.
