About Element Surrey Hills

Element Surrey Hills is a 25,000 sq. ft. greenfield location, fitted with state-of-the-art equipment and infrastructure. This laboratory offers the best testing facilities to enable the latest technologies to come to market, be sold, and used across the world, supporting rapid innovation and ever-changing global regulatory requirements. We proudly support manufacturers throughout the whole product life-cycle, from R&D to reality. 
 
Element Surrey Hills is fully accredited by UKAS to ISO 17025 and is a PTCRB Associate Test Lab with 2G, 4G and 5G RSE (GERAN, E-UTRA, 5G FR1), creating further support for operators and device manufacturers looking to secure interoperability between their devices and wireless networks. Additionally, this lab is accredited to perform testing for many other regions of the world, including the USA (FCC designated CAB) and ISED in Canada.

  • 5-meter Semi-Anechoic Chamber 
  • 2.5m Door, 1 Tonne Capacity Turn Table 
  • Full range of transient immunity tests (IEC/EN 61000-4-x series)  
  • Commercial Product Testing - FCC, EMC Directive, CISPR, 61000-X-X 
  • Medical Directive Testing - IEC/EN 60601-1-2 
  • Other customer standards as requested

  • 3G, 4G and 5G/5G advanced
  • Automated measurement facilities to reduce test time 
  • Multiple 3m and 5m CISPR 16 chambers:
  • Radiated emissions - 30 MHz - 110 GHz
  • Double door access (5m chamber)
  • 2m turntable
  • AC (50/60 Hz) and DC power
  • Large anti-chambers (shielded) for control and support equipment
  • Fully automated measurements
  • FCC/ISED/CE testing

 

RF Exposure/SAR testing:

All main IEC/EN SAR standards including:

  • Multiple SAR test systems for reduce test time 
  • Head, body and limb phantoms 
  • Power Spectral Density testing for > 6 GHz products
  • Very wide frequency range of wireless products supported from WPT to cellular bands and beyond
