About Edmonton - Environmental Laboratory
The Edmonton - Environmental laboratory is an ISO 17025 accredited laboratory offering inorganic testing and organic analyses. Soil testing includes nutrients, salinity, metals and particle size analysis to regulatory requirements for Western Canada. In addition, the laboratory offers soil testing including Atterberg limits, hydraulic conductivity, bulk density, sulfides, phenols, cyanides and organic matter.
For water analysis, Edmonton - Environmental completes routine testing, potability testing, BOD, COD, TSS, TDS, nutrients, TOC, TKN, phenols, sulfides, cyanides, hexavalent chromium and also specializes in metals testing. Another area of testing includes waste for landfill characterization and drilling waste analysis.
For organic analysis, the facility offers tests for the major spill parameters like CCME hydrocarbons and PAHs and specializes in rush analysis across the Western Canadian provinces and in Northwestern USA.
