About Element Greenville
Element Greenville was opened in Piedmont, South Carolina in 2019.
Our Greenville laboratory houses one of the most impressive independent non-destructive testing (NDT) facilities in the US and operates as an extension to Element’s Hartford, Connecticut laboratory which currently services Aerospace and Power Generation clients worldwide.
Element Greenville has successfully passed the GE S1000 and AC7004 quality audits. Our testing laboratory is also NADCAP certified, primarily serving the aerospace critical rotating parts industry, with capabilities including NDT and related chemical processing. NDT inspection services include fluorescent penetrant inspection (FPI) and ultrasonic testing (UT). Chemical processing includes blue etch anodize (BEA) and chemical etch.. Element Greenville’s signature processes are BEA and complex contour following UT C-Scans.
Element Greenville provides services to a range of aerospace Primes and their supplier networks, including Pratt & Whitney, General Electric, Rolls-Royce and Snecma.

Blue Etch Anodize (BEA) Inspection
Blue Etch Anodize is a nondestructive test that can reveal minimal surface defects in titanium materials. Titanium is commonly used in critical rotating components for both aerospace and power generation industries.

Liquid penetrant inspection (LPI), or dye penetrant inspection, is a reliable and cost-effective method for detecting surface flaws of welds, castings, and other components that cannot be destroyed. Our experts can conduct comprehensive on-site penetrant inspection.
