About Element Toulouse Laboratory
Element Toulouse’s capabilities range from high cycle fatigue (HCF) testing and low cycle (LCF) fatigue testing at elevated temperatures to fracture mechanics, static testing, and metallography inspection. Located in the European aerospace cluster of Toulouse, we are recognized as a world leader in fatigue testing and fracture toughness. Due to our proven capacity for high-quality testing, our customers can minimize their time to market and improve their reactivity.
Capabilities and Services
The laboratory’s standard services for additive manufacturing testing include powder characterization, and Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) testing for physical properties characterization and machines. Standards tested to include ASTM B216, ASTM B967, NF EN ISO 4490, ASTM B527, EN ISO 3953, ASTM B212, ASTM B417, NF EN ISO 3923-1, and ISO 13320-1.
Our Accreditations
The Toulouse laboratory is accredited COFRAC ISO 17025 (accreditation number 1-0912, scope available on www.cofrac.fr), Nadcap for metallic tests, and certified by Airbus, Safran, GE, MTU and all major Aerospace OEMs. We guarantee some of the shortest lead-time in Europe, and our technical team is capable of providing support for all stages of testing, ranging from the conception of the test plan to the execution of the complete program.
