About Element Hamburg Materials Testing Laboratory
Element Hamburg is a DIN EN ISO / IEC 17025 and DIN EN ISO 17020 accredited materials laboratory, which specializes in material testing of metals, welding technology, and failure analysis. We are a DNV recognized manufacturer for Inspection of Material Tests (metallic materials).
The Hamburg lab spans 1200 square meters with technicians and experienced staff. We offer fast turnaround times and quick communications for our customers.
Capabilities and services
Our dedicated specialists in Hamburg have extensive knowledge and experience in materials science, materials technology and welding processes. In addition to standardized mechanical-technological tests in accordance with ISO, ASTM and other standards, they also offer customer-specific tests, damage analyzes and support for research projects. At Hamburg lab we are equipped with specialist equipment for EDM (Electrical discharge machining), DR testing (digital radiography), and SEM analysis (scanning electron microscopy).
